Financial Aid

Financial aid helps students pay for college. This financial assistance can cover educational expenses including tuition and fees, books, supplies, and transportation. There are several types of financial aid, including grants, scholarships, work study, and loans. Financial aid awards may include a combination of these various types of aid.

Important News Concerning the 2024-25 FAFSA and WASFA

The availability of the 2024-25 FAFSA and WASFA have been delayed until late December 2023.  The U.S. Department of Education and Washington Student Achievement Council have not announced an official date yet - check back here for updates.  Note: the December date is for the 2024-25 year only.  The FAFSA and WASFA for future years should be available on October 1.

Change of Income

If you or your family have experienced a dramatic change in income or a loss of resources that was not reflected on your current FAFSA or WASFA, you may contact Financial Aid at financialaid@shoreline.edu to have your financial aid eligibility re-evaluated. Please note that increased financial need does not guarantee increased funding.

Additional Financial Aid Forms

Once you've filled out your application, if additional documents are required, the Financial Aid Office will notify you and post the requirements within your ctcLink account.
