THROUGH THE LENS EXHIBITION: July 3 - October 19

The documentary photography course offered at Shoreline Community College focuses
on the culmination of an entire quarter of visual storytelling and service to the
community. These Shoreline student artists spent an entire quarter working in collaboration
with a non-profit of their choosing within the Seattle area, merging art and agency
through the selection of images on display.
Later in the summer, the gallery will also be hosting a mural created in partnership
with Shoreline’s Center for Career Education and Career Options and Seattle’s Urban
Artworks, an organization intent on engaging youth and communities in the creation
of public art that inspires connections and embraces diversity at the forefront of
the work they conduct.
